:: 04 AUG 2010 – TartyBikes have been nominated as a finalist for the BikeBiz Online Retailer of the Year 2010
For the third year running TartyBikes have been nominated for Online Retailer of the Year as part of the BikeBiz Awards 2010. BikeBiz is the leading trade magazine for the UK bike industry and both ourselves and TartyBikes are extremely happy to have had the TartyBikes website nominated for this award. :: 13 JUL 2010 – Soraya Smithson
Cox Web Design is pleased to announce the launch of freelance artist Soraya Smithson's new website. Soraya came to us looking for a website to showcase her work and to reflect her unique artistic style. The site not only features a custom-built image viewer, but also has full e-commerce integration uisng our widely adapted Cox Commerce system. One of the most fun aspects of this website was the production of Soraya's Studio Tour, a short stop-frame animation to showcase Soraya's Stamford-based studio. In order to promote their cleaning business, Craig and Tony from Advance Cleaning contacted Cox Web Design asking for a new website to promote the company's wide range of cleaning services, including window cleaning, office cleaning and property & estate cleaning in and around the Loughborough area. The new website features a clean and professional design, strongly emphasising their established company branding. With the rapid success of their online business, Ideal Sealants contacted Cox Web Design at the start of the month to add a variety of new features to their site, as well as expanding their product range, improving their Google rankings via search engine optimisation (SEO) and also enhancing the overall look and feel of their site to coincide with their new company branding. Cox Web Design is pleased to announce the launch of the new Inspired Bicycles website! The old site proved to be very popular when it was released several years ago, so the new website had to be extra special. As well as a cutting edge design and a unique navigational system, the website also features automatically updating Twitter and RSS news feeds, a customer mailing list and has had some Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) thrown into the mix as well. :: 01 APR 2010 – Flack Sailing Trip
Last month we launched a small Blogger website for Tony and Michele Flack who have just undertaken a six month sailing trip around the British coast to help raise money for the charity Help for Heroes. The website allows both Tony and Michelle to send email messages to the site which are then automatically added to their blog in order to keep friends and family updated on their progress. We wish them all the best and look forward to following their progress on their website!

Today saw the launch of Regional Recruitment Service's new website. As well as a professional new look, the new website also features automatically updating RSS news feeds and has a fully content managed backend, allowing Regional Recruitment Services to make their own changes to the site with the minimal of fuss.

In a joint collaboration with our friends at the Loughborough based graphic design company 5or6, Cox Web Design is pleased to annouce the launch of Ideal Chemical Products Online. The site was designed primarily by 5or6 who sought Cox Web Design's web development skills to help them develop the site's E-Commerce system and backend functionality.

:: 16 NOV 2009 – Inspired Bicycles Distribution Website & TartyBikes Video Product Guides
We have been extremely busy over the last couple of months working on a variety of new web sites as well as adding new features to some of our existing sites.

Last month saw the release of Inspired Bicycle's business to business trade website, a bespoke implementation of the Cox Commerce system, with a complex pricing structure to handle the variety of different margins offered to trade customers.

TartyBikes have also been working with Cox Web Design and SteveA Media to develop a series of video product and maintenance guides for their website. Cox Web Design redeveloped the entire media section of the TartyBikes website to best showcase the new videos to help offer the best possible viewing experience for the website's customers. The new videos are an effective way to answer commonly asked questions regarding the products that are sold on the website.

:: 21 SEP 2009 – New Office - Ashby House, Loughborough
Cox Web Design is pleased to announce its move to a new office located directly in the centre of Loughborough. The new office is situated at Ashby House, 62A Ashby Road, Loughborough, directly above Zodiac Recruitment and opposite Sainsbury's supermarket.

The new location features our own open plan office, private parking, meeting room and facilities. The new premises will allow our company to expand and help further promote our web design and development services within Loughborough and the surrounding area.
